Elderly couple swindled $6,000 after scammers impersonating grandson and withdraw cash in person
The 90-year-old couple’s son-in-law said the scammers called from a spoofed number, claiming it was their nephew who had just hit a pregnant woman and needed $3,000 for a lawyer.
