Biden calls for tougher penalties for failed bank executives
Biden wants the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation to be able to force the restitution of compensation paid to executives at a wider range of banks in the event of bankruptcy, and to lower the threshold for regulators to impose fines and bar executives to work in another bank.
