DALLAS (KDAF) — Not having to clock in, every day is a Friday, sounds like the perfect retirement to me, but does your position matter?
Niche has listed 25 Texas cities that are the best for retirement, and you might be surprised by the list.
Niche is a website that helps you discover the best schools, neighborhoods, and more in the area. The researchers took into consideration the cost of living, the availability of health care, access to services and activities, and the overall quality of life in the city.
“This grade takes into account key factors, such as the weather, crime rates, residents age 65 and older, housing costs, and access to amenities such as restaurants, golf courses, sports and medical facilities “Niche said.
There are reviews on the website from people who live there about how comfortable and pleasant the city is for retirees.
