Owen Wolff of Austin FC was named to the roster of the United States U-20 men’s youth national team
AUSTIN (KXAN) — 18-year-old Austin FC midfielder Owen Wolff played well for his club at the start of the 2023 Major League Soccer season, and is now eligible to play for his country.
Wolff has been named to the roster of the United States men’s youth national under-20 team for international friendlies March 22-28 in Marbella, Spain, as the team prepares for this summer’s FIFA U-20 World Cup.

Wolff will return to his national team following Austin FC’s match against Houston Dynamo on Saturday and will return to the club on March 29. He will miss Austin FC’s home game against the Colorado Rapids on March 25.

Wolff joined the squad for his domestic training camp in January and was part of the under-19 squad that won the Slovenia Nations Cup last September. Wolff scored a goal against Croatia in that tournament.
Wolff scored his first ever goal for Austin FC, a sizzling right foot from about 25 yards out, on March 11 in a 2-1 win over Real Salt Lake.
